Kodak Portra800

A timeless classic in Kodak's professional film lineup, Portra 800 offers the highest ISO speed in the Portra series, giving photographers greater flexibility across a wider range of shooting conditions. Whether you're shooting indoors or outdoors, portraits or street scenes, Portra 800 is a versatile choice.

Compared to Portra 400, Portra 800 has more noticeable grain, but also delivers more saturated colors. It performs particularly well in backlit scenes and high-contrast environments, producing richer and more expressive results.

Low-light photography is where Portra 800 truly shines. Its high ISO makes it easier to achieve proper exposure in relatively dim settings, such as at sunset or indoors. Paired with a slower shutter speed, it also opens up more creative possibilities, allowing you to capture a wider variety of interesting images.

Like the other films in the Portra family, the latest Portra 800 comes in updated packaging. Its clean, linear design is complemented by the signature purple accents of the Portra series, along with a prominent “PROFESSIONAL” label that makes it easy to identify.

Overall, the Portra series is known for its relatively neutral color palette, with an emphasis on faithfully reproducing the colors we see in real life. Yet Portra 800 seems to offer even more room for creative expression and experimentation. Make the most of these 36 exposures and discover the unique depth and beauty that Portra 800 has to offer. ✨
